Intrepid Cyclists Raise Over £24,000 for Charity Appeal
Caz Dickinson, a mother, grandmother and loving wife spent 15 years working in the electrical industry for a wholesaler until her life changed in the blink of an eye. In 2009, Caz suffered a coughing fit and suddenly collapsed, hitting her head on the bathroom floor. She was rushed to hospital where she was diagnosed with a Grade 4 brain haemorrhage. This has left irreversible brain damage. The family has struggled without financial aid. The ongoing expenses, combined with Caz's husband being made redundant, resulted in the family losing their home in 2013.
Collectively with other fundraisers the EIC hope to raise £250,000 for the Dickinson family to provide them with a lasting family home for Caz's development and care.
If you wish to support the appeal you can do so via the EIC Challenge For A Cause – Caz Dickenson donations page on http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com.
